Description


You are the one the public turns to for assistance and information on how the 
town prepares the public if a tornado is approaching and where to go after a 
tornado occurs. Below are some guiding questions that will help with 
developing facts and ideas about 
the information the public will need to know.

1.  What is the system in which the public is informed that a tornado is 
coming?  Are there sirens? 
2.  How much time is there, usually, between the time the alert system is 
sounded and the tornado occurs?
3.  What preparations has the town made to ensure safety within the public in 
regards to a tornado?
4.  Who can be contacted if there are further questions on the town's 
guidelines in regards to informing the public and emergency response?
